About the Role
Design, plan, and oversee installation and commissioning of coating systems ensuring integration with production and quality engineering requirements. Determine coating material requirements (adhesives, powders, resins) and prepare capital expenditure projections for new and expansion projects. Analyze coating plant performance data to identify defects or quality issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement process optimization solutions to improve throughput, efficiency, and coating integrity. Develop reliability engineering strategies including inspection protocols, preventive maintenance schedules, and predictive maintenance programs for coating equipment and process systems. Establish and validate coating quality assurance methodologies by engineering and evaluating testing protocols. Develop technical procedures and train technical personnel on coating process parameters, quality standards, and operational best practices.

Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or a closely related field and 2 years of experience in protective coating process and procedures.  Experience must include experience in installation and commissioning of coating systems and identifying defects or quality issues to maintain efficient and coating integrity.Â
